End of a good day. After three days of relatively intense rain, the sun finally graced us with views like this. Since we’d been trapped on the boat a bit and rain being a factor, we probably didn’t see as much wildlife as hoped. But, scenes like this make up for everything.
I shot this standing up and handholding my camera while in the bow of our zodiac. It was literally me standing up, firing three images and quick horizontal succession while plowed through the water back to home base, the Flying Cloud.
Editing and prepping this image was a fairly easy task. The sun rays were very prominent in the raw file making it only a task to highlight them a bit in post-processing. Surprisingly combining the files into a pano was very easy, making the image you see here.
Overall, one of my better images from this trip.
