SEATTLE - 30 APRIL 2012
Pikes Market - Seattle, Wa
I haven't written in a while because, well, I've been busy. I've been busy riding my bike. As we speak, I'm sitting in the home of the Starbucks of the world. Not only that, it's the home of the distributor of many of the farkles on my bike, Touratech. It's also home of rain.
I seem to have been blessed because I missed all the rain. Talking to people on the road it was raining before I rode up here and it rained last night after I got here. There's even rain in the forecast though I see the sun beaming in through the window just now.
I got here a day early before a conference I'm attending up here to checkout the region. I've been to Seattle perhaps a dozen times but I've never really been beyond the city. That's the goal today, to see what's beyond Seattle on the Olympic Peninsula.
Unfortunately, if your looking for images from my trip, unless you have an affinity for bike in gas station shots, you'll be disappointed. Instead of shooting I hammered my way up here to get here in three days. That meant I didn't stop to shoot. The only shooting I did on the way up here was either at the hotel or at a gas station.
Let's see what I might find today.
